3D model for SolidWorks

I tried opening SolidWorks data using other CADs.

-Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015
Inventor supports SolidWorks files but I couldn't open 3D data downloaded from github.
-Autodesk Fusion 360
I tried back.sldprt. It was successfully opend.

By the way, would it be possible for you to upload SolidWorks assembly file, STEP file or Parasolid file?

Re: 3D model for SolidWorks

Hi,
Thank you for your opinion.
It is good news for us that Autodesk Fusion 360 could open SolidWorks files.

We will update the beta version of SolidWorks data in Mid-September. In that time, you can see assembly files and STL files.
But I am afraid we don't have a plan to provide STEP and Parasolid files. Sorry for the inconvenience and we would appreciate your kind understanding.

Yes, Autodek Fusion 360 + 1. Actually it handles solidworks files very well! The stl file could also be generated by using it.

Re: 3D model for SolidWorks

Thanks. It is enough if you could provide SolidWorks assembly files.
I also report that all parts (uploaded to github by Sep. 5, 2015) are successfully opened using Fusion 360.
